SEA TURTLE LODGING AND BIRTHING- DIRECTIONS
We are currently in the midst of a period of sea turtle egg-laying and birth on our beaches. 💚
❗️Si you attend this event or if you spot traces of sea turtle passages on the beach, call ATE immediately on 06 90 31 70 73 ❗️
And apply the following instructions: 
➡️🚫🤚If you are in the presence of the animal, take care not to touch them, not to get too close and always keep to the back of the turtle. 
➡️🚫🐶 Keep away from dogs, which, we remind you, are forbidden on all the island's beaches. 
➡️ ❌🔦To preserve the turtles and avoid disorienting them, never point a light directly at them, make sure your lighting is as dim as possible (preferably red). 
➡️ 🤫 Turn off the music and speak quietly. 
➡️❗️🦶Nests are marked with red or orange tape, so be careful not to step on them! What's more, seaside vegetation is essential for the preservation of many nests, so it's forbidden to walk on it or destroy it. 
🚬🚮For a welcoming beach, take care to put your garbage and cigarette butts in the garbage cans provided. Pocket ashtrays are available free of charge at our agency, located under the Gustavia lighthouse.
