The Agence Territoriale de l'Environnement is committed to offering events aimed at the general public, enabling everyone to find out more about the island's biodiversity and how to preserve it. These events include presentations at the EHPAD with virtual reality helmets showing immersive 360° videos of the marine environment. These helmets are also used to reach the disabled public.

ATE is often asked to take part in events organized by the local authorities, such as Heritage Days and Rendez-vous in the Garden. Other organizations also contact us to set up a stand, such as the West Indies Regatta or the Chambre Économique Multiprofessionnelle (CEM) for the journée des métiers.

Last but not least, ATE is keen to keep annual events on its agenda.

Night Day

This national event, organized annually by the association Agir pour l'environnement, has become a not-to-be-missed event. It enables participants to (re)discover the importance of the night. Over the course of an evening, a variety of activities are organized to raise awareness of the importance of protecting nocturnal biodiversity, light pollution and the beauty of the starry sky: storytelling, activities, nature walks, stargazing (Astro Photographie in St Barths), lights out).

Occasional events

The Agence Territoriale de l'Environnement organizes activities, workshops, exhibitions, creative competitions and discovery outings to mark key anniversaries and biodiversity-related events. Throughout the year, conferences, discovery outings and events are organized. These vary from year to year, depending on the activities taking place in the region.
