Despite its small size, Saint-Barthélemy is no less astonishing when it comes to its natural heritage. From the land, covered in dry forest or wetlands, to the sea, with its seagrass beds and coral reefs, to the rocky coasts and beaches, each area belongs to a specific eco-system.

Immerse yourself in the Caribbean's largest coral reef, the Grand Cul-de-sac lagoon. This magnificent colony of Corne d'élan (Acropora palmata) coral, unfortunately affected in October 2024 by global warming, helped create the lagoon: a bay of calm, shallow waters, a veritable marine nursery.
